Too Noisy for a Bedroom. Short Lifespan
I purchased three of these fans. They are all too noisy for a bedroom. One has just died after just a few years of service and the warranty is garbage. Hunter is a junk brand.

We have 3 of these in our home. Always thought Hunter made good quality products. Unfortunately that is not the case. The glass globe shatters without warning, with the tiniest of soft impact, sending microscopic glass splinters everywhere. I am uninstalling the other 2 and will not be purchasing any more Hunter fans.
I bought 2 of these fans less than a year ago for my kids rooms and they are making a grinding noise within the motor housing. It does not allow my child to sleep because it is so loud. I see other reviews where this fan has this issue, what can be done to fix this? I bought Hunter because it's supposed to be one of the best but now I second guessing myself.
I have had several issues with this fan since I bought this house. Some of the screws that hold the blades on will not screw in because the holes will not allow it to tighten, also makes grinding sound like metal on metal. I have taken this thing apart several times trying to fix everything and still gives me issues.
Fan was easy to install. Whisper quiet. Strong. i wish it were still available because I want to install another in a bedroom. Works great in my office.
I'm replacing an almost 30 year old fan that is just outdated and was a little loose at the ceiling box - no issues with noise or performance over all those years. Now the bad, I'm a new product design engineer AND have production engineering experience as well and I can tell you I would be hung out to dry so to speak if I ever put this fan into production with such a difficult assembly for seasoned production workers, never mind consumers! If you are going to have the light kit needing all blind fastening of screws AND need a magnetized screwdriver for a deep reach third screw that at least needs to be done in production and not by a consumer who generally already don't want to mess around with wiring and removing all the crap from the wiring box. My god, you aren't even allowed that many wires in a standard wall switch box! And you should have provided machine screws for assembly to a ceiling box and not rely on ones that "came" with the box, which most likely didn't come with any screws. I was cussing most of the time I was assembling this very simple device. But I do love the quite and mostly wobble free without even any blade weights.
We have 6 of these. They are nice and does its job. My bedroom one was humming. Found out adjusting the glass cover solved the problem. If it's a little loose..it vibrates and causes humming noise.
Went up like any other ceiling fan I've ever installed. No problems. Looks very classy in the room. Moves air quietly and provides light.
This works great in our family room and pool table room.. No wobble, no clicking, no noise. Now as far as the pool table room I am waiting for someone to accidently hit one of the blades with the bridge or a pool cue accidently and see if it begins to make noise or wobble. That is what usually has happened....once hit, it's hard to get the thing to work correctly. They used to come with a remote, but now if you want it you have to buy it separately.
I have 3 Antero 59212 fans installed. All were installed at the same time and all make the same motor humming noise, and one clicks so loud that it kept me awake and I had to move it from our bedroom. I have never bought anything but Hunter fans b/c they are (were?!) so quiet. Others seem to have similar problems. Does this model have a noise issue?
