We have a loft/game room that already has recessed lighting so we didn't need a fan with a ton of light output. This one is beautiful and works with the quality you'd expect from Hunter!
Purchased this for a customer, they were very happy with everything about it! Loved the clear globe and are able to get good light out of it.
The fan, while having a great build quality as well as fit and finish, did not meet our expectations. The lighting is too dim, and trying to use a brighter bulb isn't possible as it blinds you since the glass globe has no frosting on it. It is insufficient to properly light even a small room. On top of that, the fan only has 3-speed settings programmed. The lowest speed hardly moves any air at all, the medium speed is close to a normal high-speed setting, and the high-speed setting is obnoxiously fast. We also purchased the Lykke 52" fan which has a much better speed system, as well as a better lighting system built in. I wish I could recommend this fan, but I can't unless you don't plan to use the lighting, and only want a fast fan.
Beautiful fan! I love the simple lighting and the fan is super powerful! The only thing I really didn't like was the fact that I thought the bowl was more of a tan tint but it was clear. The bulb it also comes with was not nearly bright enough to light up a large bedroom so I replaced the bulb with a brighter one. Other than that, it was a great buy!
This 52" BENNET - HUNTER ceiling fan with remote is a good fan & all the options of lighting modes and fan directions. I like the one light edison bulb for some light but not ALOT. The Smokey light black color on cover is a. distinctive pressence, and with the option of the black side of blades also. It's a very quiet fan with gentle air movements which I like due to my senior age and my dry eyes issue. My son put it up with no problems, and said it's the easiest ceiling fan he's ever put up. The price discounts I used helped ALOT due to expense of it, but you pay for quality & the packaging as always with "OVERSTOCK is OUT STANDING". Deborah in MO.
It looks so much better in person. I have looking at this fan for months and when it went on sale I had to snatch it up. It looks great!
Easy enough to install if you're relatively handy. I love that the light can be controlled just by the wall switch and the fan with the remote.
I do like the looks of this fan and it is definitely a Hunter, nice and quiet and solidly built. The reason I gave it 3 stars is that this fan is not a good pick for an office or bedroom where you are using it as your main light. The light is so dim, it barely lights up anything. We tried buying a higher wattage bulb but the fixture limits you so even the higher wattage bulb doesn't provide much light. If you are going for looks and not light, this is a great fan. If you are needing the light, I would choose another one.
I love this fan! Pretty easy to assemble and hang. I love that the light is dimmable. It's also very quiet, even when the fan is on higher speeds. I have had this fan for over a year and it's still working great!
Looking for something different, neutral but still stylish. Fan looks and works great. Has a remote for light. My office/loft area is all variations of light taupe and greys so this perfect. It would also work with a beachy decor as the blade looks kind of like driftwood. Quality, stylish and modern but not too much. Sorry my pix aren't good- looks like I need to clean the globe!
