I really love the design of this lamp. The walnut and brushed nickel finish is exactly the mid-century look I wanted. The lamp is heavy, sturdy and easy to assemble. Mine had slight finish chipping near the metal collar. The clear plastic floor pedal looks a bit inexpensive and may not be very durable compared to the rest of the materials. The lamp also leaned slightly after assembly, but I corrected it with a piece of cardboard under the base and it now sits straight. Overall this is a very attractive, substantial lamp with nice ambient light. With better finish consistency and alignment it would be 5 stars.

Minimalist & modern

Modern, sleek, well made. Perfect soft uplight. Looks great in my small living room in my condo. I have a triple window, it it's in the right corner next to the couch I have ordered another one for the opposite side of the windo.

Nice lamp. Sits in the corner of a large master bedroom that's sort of mid-century style and provides a decent amount of light. Not the only light source in the room but good for ambient light.

Leaning Tower of Lamp

The individual lamp pieces look good in the box...BUT when you put the lamp together you discover the pieces are misaligned! No matter how many different times you try to screw the pieces together the lamp WILL NOT be straight, it WILL lean. Don't waste your time and money on this product. The packaging however was very well done.

Nice lamp but don't look too closely

This lamp is typical of the Chinese stuff we get over here. It was packed well and arrived undamaged. I unpacked it outside to avoid the Chinese styrofoam getting everywhere. Assembly was easy but parts don't line up that well. As a previous reviewer experienced, the lamp doesn't stand up straight. I fixed that by putting 1/2" of shim underneath the base on one side. As we're putting the lamp in a corner next to a coach, the shim doesn't show. I gave it 4 stars because it matches our furniture perfectly. I would say that the finish is not really walnut which is darker than the medium brown that is actually is.

Beautiful MCM Floor Lamp.

This is for the most part the perfect MCM style floor lamp. It looks great. You need 2 people to put it together as the parts are heavy and the securing of the glass shade is difficult unless you secure the base safely. I gave it 4 stars because when you get it together you see that the wood does not cleanly align with the metal parts, but I still like it very much. Will have to upload a photo when I have it in my new home.

Solid beauty

Beautiful solid floor lamp. Easy to assemble, just make sure you grab the pieces/parts out of the box to screw on the lamp shade (mine was jumbled in the packing material and I could have easily missed it). Once assembled mine has a little lean to it, but when I turn it toward the wall it is not noticeable at all. It is a high quality well-made lamp. It really lights up the space. I am impressed with the reach of the light without being a beacon. I highly recommend it.
