Was very excited about this lamp but it arrived damaged (dent on the metal shaft) and was a bit sticky to adjust for the height.
This lamp was the perfect addition to our 2-story living room. I think the size of the room really helps this not seem as massive as it really is! Love the huge, heavy and STURDY marble base. Even though you have to self-assemble some of it, it does not at all seem cheap or flimsy. This thing can even withstand my 3-year-old occasionally bumping into it or forgetting he's not supposed to hang on it. I like the extension feature though honestly once we had everything set up just so, we haven't changed it. But good to know we can if it is behind/over a different piece of furniture in the future. Overall very pleased with this purchase!
I ordered 2 of these for my formal living room. The shades came a few days after the lamp pole and base, which was a little concerning at the time. However, I did receive both lamps and both shades within a few days. The lamps are subtlety modern and more adjustable than I thought, which was great! I liked the bottom diffuser shade so you don't stare up into the bulb. It would be nice if the lamps could go a little brighter - these are not strong reading lights if that is your intention. They are great quality for the price. I am very happy with my purchase!
In shopping for and arched floor lamp - the shape of the arched section just seemed to look all the same. This one is somehow different - more angular making it feel a bit more modern. It is finished with a very high quality shade and base.
I had been searching for an arch lamp for awhile, and this was exactly the size and style we needed for a small space over the sofa. Easy to assemble and the quality is really good. It is fairly tall and the arch is large. Would recommend
Extremely sturdy heavy marble base, not your usual arced mid century lamp, I was looking for something with a lot of height for in-between two desk to share illumination, it wasn't too hard to assemble, the optional diffuser took some finagling, but over all it's a sleek clean piece. I prob could have found a cheaper version, but this one fits the value for quality.
