Very nice style lamp; color is brighter than photo and I had to make a claim since the box was very smashed and opened when it arrived on my doorstep.
If you are looking for Japanese decor to zen up your place this is the lamp for you. I also gotten the smaller version and love them both. Very well constructed. You do have to be careful with the rice paper tho as they can tear easily if you are not careful. I get so many compliments fr my guests asking me where I got them.
These lamps are very cool. I use them as end tables. They have the switches on the floor which makes it convenient. Good quality and simple to put together

We bought 2 of these for nightstands beside our bed. We've had them several years now, and they look and work as well now as they did when we got them. They're great for soft night lights.
I ordered this in black and really like the unique combination of an end table and lighted shining screen. It can add some class to any room. However it's made of relatively cheap materials and mine arrived with damaged with several scratches on the table top. At this price point I would not recommend.
I have had this for many years now and it still looks great. I bought the black version. It is attractive without taking over the room, and the light is subtle and very atmospheric. If you are looking for a light to read by, this is NOT it. This is indirect light in a very attractive package.
Just what I expected. Goes with oriental decoration. Very good for the price. After years of use still looks and works great as a bed side table.
I love this floor lamp!!! I bought two of them. They provide just the right amount of light for my living room. Gives the room a very soft feel.. Very easy to assemble. At first I didn't see the little wrench taped to the inside box, used needle nose pliers. Found it and worked well on the second one. The instructions confused me at first. The neck inside the fixture is longer then the one pictured in the diagram. I realized it must be a general diagram. It is beautiful. I recommend using soft opaque bulbs. I have both, opaque looks much nicer. Using 60 watt, might try 40 and also colored bulbs.
Great for a college student or anyone who moves around frequently (like me). Super lightweight and convenient... I kept this end table for YEARS! Just lift the top off, fold the rest of the lamp once, and you're good to go.
