This lamp is soooo beautiful! It was a gift for my daughter and I love it so much, I want one for myself. It is even prettier than shown!!

Very nice! It came well packaged with no scratches or breakage. There's even an extra piece of stained glass in case of breakage and a pair of white gloves for handling. It was super easy to assemble. I plugged it in to a smart plug so I now just say "Alexa turn on Tiffany."
This lamp is truly beautiful. Yes, it is glass, not plastic or resin, though the kind of glass that is used for stained glass like Tiffany-style lamps will have a different feel than, say, stemware or windows, much less crystal or light bulbs. This glass is a different composition because of the rolling technique for creating it, plus it is also cut to much greater thickness or gauge, and the metal foil and soldering also restrict the profile of the vibration if one taps or flicks it. You just don't get that ping. But that's true of stained glass in churches too. So kindly disregard comments from other customers who think the shade is resin or plastic. There is resin in the piece, but that's not the shade. They're not playing games with just a few pieces of glass so they can list that when the shade is resin either. As for the base, it's just okay. It's metal and resin. It's the standard base these companies make for dozens of models when they don't want to commit too strongly to one style. The base is not flimsy--it's heavier than most resinous bases because there is some density to the resin and metal elements--so it is heavy enough to not tip over too easily; but I still think they should have made it even heavier and balanced mored towards the very bottom as one would like given the weight of a glass shade, and I think the center of gravity should be much lower in the base too due to the fact that the shade is so heavy and does pivot slightly even when the finial is fastened all the way (this is true of most Tiffany lamps, you'll find), so the wobbling when it is nudged does make people a little nervous. The good news is that one can purchase lamp weights or, as some do, remove the felt bottom of the base and fill in with plaster or some other material. Some people even mix in lead pebbles or weights used in fishing lines into this. If you love this particular model of shade and spending a little extra money isn't a concern, there is a perfect base for this lamp. Just run a search on ******* for "Deana tiffany lamp" or type this in at Overstock.com We almost purchased that Deana lamp, but thought the shade's stones looked too cheap and fake. But this model and that Deana have shades that are of the same diameter and height, and have very similar undulations on the bottom. In every respect the bases and shades of these two pieces are interchangeable. But the Deana one is significantly heavier (perhaps 12 pounds), and I personally prefer the more intricate design of it. If you have pets, that's the way to go. A good four-seam fastball couldn't knock that base over. We purchased both and sold the shade and base we didn't want ***********.) for basically a wash overall. Oh, and the best bulbs for maximizing the intensity of the light coming throughh the shade without compromising the full spectrum of color being seen is GE's HD+ LED light bulbs in the "reveal" category. We like warmer lighting, but it won't exhibit Tiffany glass's natural beauty because the red wavelength is too weak, so do not use the "relax" type; on the other hand, the "refresh" are fine if one really prefers this. These will distort to the blue wavelength. While that's not as bad with this particular shade because it makes the predominately blue colors richer and more vivid, and it does make the more opaque pearl/cream more translucent, in a living room the light might be too intensely white there to be able to comfortably enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of the shade. I'd say if you go with the GE HD+ LED in "reveal" you can do 75 or 100 watt replacement bulbs (60 is okay, but the colors doesn't show as nicely), but if it's the "refresh" you'd want to do 75 or maybe 60. The only other criticism of the lamp is that the shade doesn't hang more than an inch below the bottom of the light bulbs, so if one is in a sofa or chair with a low seat height (e.g. under 21 inches) or if the lamp is positioned on an end or sofa table is higher than the usual 24-26 inches (you'd probably be fine to 30 inches, depending on how much you sink into the seat cushion), there is a chance that one gets a view of the bottom half of the light bulbs instead of only seeing light filtered through the glass... which is especially bad if you're using those "refresh bulbs" or the 100 watt replacement strength LEDs.
I was pleasantly surprised when my lamp arrived. It is beautiful and the colors are gorgeous! It is heavy and well made, I love it.

The glass shade is quite fragile, be careful not to damage it when assembling the lamp. But very beautiful, we use it as bed lamps and could not be happier
