This exterior wall lantern light has a dusk-to-dawn auto sensor which enables the fixture to turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn automatically. You can use black tape or a cap to cover the dusk-to-dawn sensor if you need to disable the dusk to dawn feature.

It requires one 60-Watt MAX bulb, or equivalent LED bulb. Light bulb needs to be purchased separately. 

E26 long tubular bulb is recommended to fully illuminate the glass and to complement the overall aesthetic, or use an Edison bulb to enhance a vintage look.
