Bought 2 of these. They are exactly as described. Photos show perfect representation of actual product. Works well.
For a ceiling of 8' height, it limits me to the choices of flush mount ceiling fans. This item is a downrod mount but very low profile (literally, it's around 13" height after mounting). Of course I compromised a little to get one as much as meets all my requirements: low profile (<16" height), a reputational brand, clear installation manual, come with light option, E26 light bulbs, reversible blades, quiet and a good amount of airflow (3014 CFM), rustic/tropical/coastal/farmhouse style, not super heavy (<25 lbs.), and fit into my budget. I read so many reviews on multiple sites and then picked this one. The installation was around 1 to 1.5 hours for a non--professional electrician. Overall, it is a good product. The only minor was the notes on the parts. They put AA, BB, and CC instead of the numbers shown in the manual. Not a biggie, but they can do better. It's still worth a recommendation.
installed two of these to out covered patio. love the looks and they match up well with our decorations we have used. one is over our conversation area with the TV and other one is over our new firepit table combination. like the fact that are remote control, both light and fan functions. neighbors will be jealous of them.
