Nice, simple & modern, NOT for sloped ceilings
We needed a light which would serve as lighting for our open kitchen design, bringing light to the counters as well as the island. This fits the bill very nicely, with lights being able to be adjusted to the various areas, with a nice modern aesthetic. Despite the name, our home isn't 'farmhouse' style, it's mountain modern, and this piece fits well style wise. The only reason for not giving 5 stars, is this one drawback: I searched for lights which could be adaptable for a sloped ceiling and this one kept coming up in the search and I thought it read as such in the description, however be aware this IS NOT made for sloped ceiling installations. Luckily, my husband was able to expertly bend the long bars at the top near the ceiling to make this fixture work for us. Not everyone is going to want to toy with that, we would not have ordered it if we knew for sure it was not meant to adapt to a sloped ceiling- otherwise is what we needed and overall a nice fixture!
