So first off, these lights are NOT Satin Nickel. They are more of a satin chrome. A very cool/blue toned silver, no warmth/yellow like nickel has. This was exactly what I was hoping for so I'm glad I went by the photos and not the description. Also, the material they are made of is non-magnetic, so I'm thinking it's aluminum, which is GREAT for not rusting outside. Again, I wish the description had mentioned the material. Lastly, I have uploaded a photo with the approximate dimensions added, as I ordered not knowing the size of the lights and was luckily happy with the size. Here are my measurements: Total Height 10.5", Height of lantern box only, 7.5", Width, 6.25", Depth 7.625", mounting box in back, 5.5x4.5". I hope this review helps fill in the gaps left by the dismal description. I'm very happy with these lights, I bought one for my front porch, 2 for my garage, and am planning on buying 2 more for my back porch and patio.
This is the second time I'm purchasing these outdoor lights. I bought 3 seven years ago for a previous house and still looked great after 7 years in Florida sun and humidity beach side. Just moved and bought 3 more for exterior of new house.
