Assembly was very simple, just attach the handle to the other piece of the unit. I expected it to "snap" louder, but if you remove the water tank on front you can see the button and if it is in all the way or not. I love that the cord is 30 feet long, that allows me to easily get across entire rooms plus some in my home without having to unplug and find a new plug. The steam mop has two tanks. One you use plain water in and the other you use Hoover Cleaning Solution in. The tanks are labeled "water" and "solution" which is nice. The cleaner you can use full strength for extra dirty floors but for regular strength it says to mix 50/50 with water. It would be nice if the solution tank would have some sort of markings on it to easily measure the solution and water ratios to pour directly into the tank. I filled the tank with water and emptied into a measuring cup and it was about 10 ounces. So for regular cleaning I added 5 ounces of cleaning solution and then topped off with water. There is a Solution Control Dial on the front that controls the amount of cleaning solution used in conjunction with the water for the steam. You can pick steam only, general clean, spot clean, or tough stains with the dial. The dial does not control the amount of steam, only the amount of cleaner. The mop heated up really fast â€" 30 seconds or so. There is an indicator light on front that tells you when it is ready. This is much faster than my older steam cleaning devices. The mop came with 3 different reusable microfiber pads. The pads "stick" on the mop with sort of a hook-and-loop action. Very easy. I like that the pads have "tabs" on the back that make removal easy. You can buy a 2 pack of pads on the Hoover website (1 multi-surface and 1 hard floor) for $20 plus shipping. I think this is expensive for pads considering the entire unit is only [$]. I will have to check other stores for better prices or sales as I would like to have some extras for when I mop the entire house in one day.It seems like it puts out a lot of steam, more than my old Haan steam mop did for sure. However, be careful and don't be trigger happy because you will over-saturate the cleaning pads because so much steam comes out. I used this on inexpensive wood laminate flooring and vinyl tile flooring. With steam only it did a better job than my old steam mop because the steam power seemed to be better. With the cleaner it easily cleaned up some cat vomit that had dried on the floor. The mop is easy to maneuver because of the pivoting head. It does take a little longer for the floor to dry if you use the cleaning solution as you mop.Overall seems like a good quality product that will clean my floors.I received a sample of this product to facilitate my review, but my opinions are entirely my own.
I've been using the Hoover twin tank steam mop for about 2 weeks now to clean my home. Our home is about 1600 square feet with 75% of the flooring being Saltillo tile. This tile is fantastic in that it hides dirt…but also awful because it hides dirt! I really like several things about the steam mop â€" first, that it heats so quickly. The one I used prior to this took a long time….this takes 30 seconds, tops! It's fantastic not to wait around. Also, you have to engage a button on the handle to make the steam come out â€" so it's not just sitting there steaming on the floor when not in use. (I do get a little hand cramp after extended mopping, though â€" one downside.) I did like the cleaner that's included however I try to only use the steam setting on my floors. If you do use the cleaner, there is a dial to select how much cleaning power you want to use, which is a nice option to have. The cord is long â€" I can plug the steam mop in inside the kitchen and mop most of my dining room and living room without moving the plug. It cleans really well, too â€" with two kids and two dogs, it's important to have a mop that will clean the floors well and not leave a residue! Overall, I'm very happy with the Hoover Twin Tank steam mop. I received a sample of this product to facilitate my review, but my opinions are entirely my own.
This product arrived earlier than expected which was a plus. When they say the dimensions may vary they are not kidding. I ordered the king sized and it is too small by about one inch and half on either side of the top of the mattress.Having said that and not being thrilled with it, I still think this was a fantastic value. It is a DREAM to sleep on and very, very comfortable. I have arthritis and a dislocated sacral joint in my spine right now and this has really made it possible for me to sleep comfortably.I've seen this product for sale locally for more than double what overstock is selling this for. Grab one and you will not be sorry. It's a fantastic deal for a durable, and remarkably comfortable memory foam topper. I almost wish I'd got two and gone for the four inch one! These are HEAVY so you will need help to move them on to the bed. There was NO SMELL whatsoever with this product.
I saw this on sale and decided to try it. The colors itself are truly rich & bold, and I love the shimmer that it gives off; the purple type confetti was a nice addition; no problem here. It's nice that it's non-toxic and safe to use for many artistic projects: fabrics, paper or foam but will need adequate time to allow for it to dry. The glitter-glue stays in place and doesn't run or drip even when wet. I personally liked to apply with a small (cheap) artist brush; made it much easier to control. You don't want to get this on a better quality brush hair as the glitter doesn't all come out. I would think this is safe for kids, but not younger children. Art sample: woman with full hair - gold & silver glitter glue is used here. You can truly see how much glitter it gives off and how vibrant the colors are. Art sample: mandala - (sorry, will try to take a better photo) - silver glue glitter is used throughout, again it truly pops. Art sample: one of my absolute favorite floral art pieces; just look how rich the gold look here among the white flowers; again, a lot of product is dispensed; and was rather easy to apply in this type of application (doting affect). The other flowers are colored with oil based color pencils; using glitter glue allows for my creativity to genuinely come alive and I find is fun to design with. Cons Tip of the head is way too big for smaller detail artworks; and tend to get messy due to not being able to control the glitter glue. I also found out the hard way, it does tend to dry up if left not used for awhile (couple of weeks); that was a major setback; I ended up wasting a lot of unused product. Not sure why they would call this glitter-glue pens as it is anything but that; dispensers would be more like it. Once enough product at the top is used; you then are forced to squeeze product from the bottom (reminds me of dispensing toothpaste from the bottom first); and don't squeeze too much or you're left with product coming out everywhere & creating a mess. Would I recommend: No, I think there are better glitter glue ***
