Wanted a watch to wear while gardening power walking and this fits the bill. I also needed a watch that I could set a timer for and this has that feature and many others. Very pleased with this watch.
I keep buying different versions of the Womens Ironman watch. Love the style and colored bands, unfortunately I can't seem to keep the bands from breaking every couple of years. This watch is a great deep purple - I would call it grape. Timer is easy to use as is the alarm. Hope this one lasts a while.
Although this watch is rated to 30m water resistant, I didn't realize that you had to get a Timex watch rated to 50m to be able to swim in it. (It does not make sense...it can go 30 meters below, but now be ok at the surface? But that is what Timex does.) I had originally intended this to be my summer watch where I could jump in the water after the kids with it on Instead its a cute watch for regular activities when we are not at a lake. I love that it has indiglo so I can see the time at night. I ended up buying another Timex watch rated to 50m for swim days but am keeping this one because its reasonable priced and a cute summer watch.
The watch itself looks just as expected. It does feel a bit flimsy, like it might wear out or tear with frequent use. I like the look of it, but the battery included was DEAD! I spent about 30 minutes c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y removing the back, changing out the battery, and then c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y replacing the back. I wasn't even sure what rating to give this, as I had to replace the battery at the cost to my own time and $. The watch is now working, albeit with a bit of a loud tick. I would file all of my complaints under, "You get what you pay for", and have rated this a 4 or a 5; HOWEVER, receiving a new watch with a dead battery is not acceptable to me, even if the item is inexpensive.
