I have some questions on this ring because I have had people tell me about my ring. 1) I have heard (from a jeweler friend) that the metal wasn't sterling silver. 2) I took my ring in to get cleaned and asked her to do an inspection, and she said that the metal was real but that it was cubic zirconia. The site says it is a natural diamond, not lab created, I would like to get this straightened out. It has different cleaning properties and care properties, I would like it to last for awhile because I love it and having the correct information would be awesome.
My wife has a beautiful engagement ring that's just under a carat tw. This band compliments it perfectly. Anything over a 1 carat solitaire, you may want to consider the 1 carat tw band. This ring is 2 mm wide, so keep that in mind when purchasing. The ring itself is very sparkly and is exactly as described. We are very happy we went with the .5 carat band and have absolutely no regrets. Overstock's service was very timely, as well. Shipped after 3 days, and received in 6 days. I haven't seen a better deal anywhere.
My now Husband, proposed to me with this ring- following the etiquette of spending about two paychecks on an engagement ring (although this was a set). We were just starting out, I was 18 and he was 22 ^--^ It was the most perfect ring for me, it wasn't too big, the band was perfect for both of the rings. Its been about 3 years and I have recently gotten an upgrade for the engagement ring (following the same 2 paycheck etiquette) a solitaire thats a 1/2ct but the wedding ring matches perfectly! This is DEFINITELY a ring to get if you have small hands, or plan to upgrade, it matches well with a lot of other ring styles if there ever is a chance for an upgrade for the engagement ring!
