I love the look of this watch. So far it keeps time just fine, but unfortunately, I got it wet when doing dishes one night. The next day, I noticed that the faced fogged up. It took several weeks for it to dry out. (I suspect that my watch may have had the crystal replaced and therefore is not as water resistant as it should be.) The screw down crown is difficult to use, however, since you only need to set or change the time every once in a while it is not that big a deal. However, I am disappointed that it not really water resistant and I certainly would not swim or dive with it on. Since it is a Diver's watch that is too bad, since that is kind of the point of a Diver's watch. It is a great looking watch and I would highly recommend it if it would not for this issue. If you do buy it, I would test it's water resistance right away, so you can return it within the 30 day window if you are not satisfied.
I bought this watch in white over a year ago & love it. All my life I wore standard "ladies" watches needing one for work (I'm a nurse and needed a second hand), one for dressy occasions & one for exercise, swimming, yard work etc. I seemed to always be changing bands, batteries or replacing watches due to scratched crystals. After Sandra Bullock wear one in "The Blind Side" I did tons of online research & purchased mine online. It seemed big & heavy for about a day. I adjusted the band myself after watching a couple of YOUTUBE videos which is also where I learned how to use the rotating bezel & set the time. It has a functional bezel & screw-down winding stem & back like a divers wear. (Just unscrew the winding stem & pull it out to set time.) The back is screwed down with 8 very tiny screws increasing resistance to water. ( My recent battery change was done at Batteries PLUS since it was included with the battery purchase.) The butterfly clasp is very secure & when closed gives the band a seamless look. The large size face has been wonderful; now I can tell the time with or without my glasses. Ceramic bands are very tough and don't scratch or show wear. Mine looks new despite a few accidental scrapes against cinderblock. Likewise the face remains unscratched despite being banged and dropped a few times. The watch keeps accurate time and is indeed resist water (Yup, forgot to take it off before bathing on a few occasions.) My Burghi watch continues to exceed all my initial expectations. I wear it all day every day & can't imagine wearing anything else. I still get compliments and even purchased one as a gift for my best friend who loves hers just as much. In fact, my friend wants to get a pink one so I'll be showing her this one. It's a great watch at a very good price... Ceramic watches aren't just a fad...I think they are here to stay.
This is one nice chunk of fine stainless steel! Super sturdy, nice soft strap, killer looking wavy face and a very precise quartz movement that keeps perfect time. One thing that blew me away was how incredibly fine the threads are on the locking screw down crown!!! It takes more than a few turns of the crown to seal this watch down watertight! Impressive machining!!! No wonder its rated down to 3300 feet!!!! Thick! Chunky! Massive. These are just a few words I could use to describe my new beast!!! The SEA DRAGON DIVERS LIMITED EDITION WATCH!! LOVE THE DEEP BLUE FACE OF THIS WATCH!!! I hope it lasts. Being just a day/date, I don't see why it wouldn't stay water tight for years and years. Heres to taking calculated risks. I've never heard of this company, (SEA PRO), but the watched was so striking when I was looking at the online photos, and the relatively inexpensive price point, I decided to go for it and my oh my, I am not disappointed at all. I hope it lasts as long as I think it will.
I wear my watches all the time. That means swimming, in the shower, etc. This watch looked good online but is much more impressive on your wrist. With screw down stop/start/reset buttons and a screw down crown, this baby won't leak. It passed the wife test too. She thought I spent a lot more. I hadn't heard of "Invicta" before - nice swiss watch.
