Nce watch box. Some minor knocks...didn't realize the hardware was gold; the hinges, front lock and handle. The watch pillows are different sizes. The pillows in the top, under the glass are larger (wider) than the pillows in the drawer. So you can (obviously) put the smaller pillows under the glass, but not the larger pillows in the drawer. All-in-all, box displays the watches nicely. I have a few larger watches; 46mm case, 18mm thick...fits in the top, under the glass nicely.
The watch arrived very fast. Only 3 days. It really looks great and seems to keep good time. I changed the band to a sterling silver with turquoise and corral inlay flex band, which is 18mm and is why I purchased this watch even tho I am a dude. I have had the band since I was 18. Now 54.
A deployment clasp is a good investment to extend the life of your watch band. It's important however to choose the correct size clasp. The product description for this item says that it fits any 20 mm band. This is not correct. A watch band is measured at the point that the band meets the watch. Most bands then taper from that point to (normally) 2 mm narrower at the point where the band meets the buckle. Example: a 20mm band tapers to 18mm at the buckle; a 22mm band tapers to 20mm at the buckle. The deployment clasp replaces the buckle. This clasp is 20mm wide and fits my 22mm band which tapers to 20mm at the buckle. Measure your band at the buckle. If yours measures 20mm, this clasp is for you. If not, choose another clasp of the appropriate size. The push button mechanism can also be a little stiff when you first use it. I found that working the button over and over makes it much easier to close the clasp which was close to impossible the first few times I tried.
