With my wedding only a month away, and being indecisive, I ordered 3 different rings to see what fit the best and looked the best on my finger. This one won out, over 2 other inlaid styles. I really liked the iridescent look of the inlaid pearl. It is subtle, and classy without being feminine or cheesy looking. The quality of the ring is very good. It is 8mm wide and would have been much better at 10mm or more. It is a comfort fit, with the inside edges slightly curved so that it slides onto the finger nicely. My only complaint is that the outside surface edges are not radius'd. They are a square cut, which is not uncomfortable at all to wear, but if they were radius'd, the ring would have looked better. The other thing about the square cut is that I notice in the shower, when lathering a bar of soap, sliding it back and forth in my hands, the ring catches and gouges the bar of soap, like a chisel. so I have to slightly cup my hand so that the ring does not shave off soap. Silly point but worth noting. I do like the ring very much as my everyday "rough wear" ring, but will alternate it with a much more expensive 12mm wedding band which I purchased from Titanium Style, who can customize titanium rings totally, in widths up to 12mm and with any kind of inlay, in dozens of different styles.
I like this cute little ring. The light pinks adds a little femininity to an otherwise unfeminine ring. I like wearing it when I'm not dressing up, but want some jewelry. It seems very durable. I don't worry about it if I'm in the garden or playing with the dog. I'm very happy with this purchase.
On a recent trip to Maui, I wanted to purchase a special ring. I saw a white abalone ring but they did not have it in my size. On my return, I checked on Overstock and found this ring. I LOVE it. It is very distinctive and the black band on each side offsets the white to add impact. I have had many compliments.
