My husband is quite hard on his watches, so looking for something inexpensive and two-toned in color. Functions well, and has held up for several months now -- Timex has proved to be a good, solid watch for him.
Got this for my son to go on a 10 day backpacking trip. No phones meant he needed another way to track time. This watch lives up to the old Timex commercials that claim "It takes a licking and keeps on ticking!" The watch and the band have survived quite a bit. It has been briefly in a shower, a pool, and a snowbank. It has been stepped on, dropped, and scraped on rocks. It has survived high heat and high altitudes. If only his smart phone was as durable and boy-proof! One of the best investments we have made for his Scouting Adventures. He now wears it all of the time and uses it to tell time instead of his phone. Happy mom!
