item was brand new as stated. all box, documents, etc. Except for the Warranty Card since Tag Heuer does not offer warranty card on third party sellers, so beware of this if you are one of those who like to have the official warranty card, since they only include it when its an authorized reseller. other than that, i purchased the 2 year warranty from overstock, so shouldn't be an issue. Happy with the watch.
Had been in the market for an aquaracer for some time and came across this deal which could not be beat. I used a XX% off coupon plus an additional X% off through club o. Obviously it was grey market and I knew it wouldn't have a factory warranty but who cares when you can get it for XX% of the authorized dealer price. I opted for the 3 year protection plan for around $XX ( Tag's customer service is notoriously bad anyway) which actually covers more than the standard factory warranty. The watch itself came with the original packaging but no warranty card as expected. There is a serial number on the watch back. Protective blue plastic film was still on the watch which appeared that it had not been tampered with. No scratches at all, appeared brand new. I had the watch looked at by an authorized dealer when I got the band sized and they said it was authentic. Watch is working great, no issues at all, and I have even worn it in the pool several times. It is a quartz so I plan on changing the battery every couple years and getting it pressure tested. A local watch shop that repairs tags says they can replace the battery and pressure test it for $XX, quite a bit cheaper than the $XXX an authorized dealer quoted me. Bottom line, if you are going to buy a grey market watch you have to be careful because there are a lot of refurbished and even replica watches being sold. In my opinion you are better off buying from a trusted retailer like overstock and getting their protection plan.
