This ring has a beautiful design and super comfortable fit. i ordered the 18K gold overlay and it has completely worn off the ring in 3 weeks of daily wear. I now just have a nice sterling silver ring but at under $*- oh well.
My husband and I have matching wedding rings (we have this ring, but in 14kt gold). So, when I saw this one in sterling silver, I purchased it so that I could wear it as my wedding ring on the days I want to wear silver jewelry. It is a very well made piece.
This ring looks exactly like the picture. Looks great as a thumb ring or can be used for stacking with other silver sterling rings or gold bands for a two toned look. Always attracts attention when I am wearing it. Very comfortable to wear on any finger.
Great ring. It's not overly domed as some rings can be, and looks beautiful on. Very classy, simple. Comfortable. My husband and I wear these as weddings bands. I would purchase this ring again. It's a fantastic alternative to much more expensive gold or platinum options. It's lovely to see that even at the affordable end of the spectrum, a ring with beautiful design can still be found. Silver does scratch easily. It is a softer metal than both gold and platinum, although gold and platinum scratch as well. This was not a concern for me as I've owned various pieces over time and am reasonable with my expectations of wear and tear. Some rings on the market (silver and what is sold as "white gold") are chromium plated. I've owned a chromium plated "white gold ring" (gold is inside covered by the chromium exterior) and it should be noted that chromium scratches as well, and the sheen of chromium is much darker than both silver or platinum. There's no particular reason to purchase a chromium plated silver ring (or chromium plated gold ring, for that matter, unless you are particular about having the non-seeable gold inside the ring for one reason or the other) unless for some reason you really want to, as the chromium plating will merely raise the price of the ring without necessarily any benefit. Chromium does wear off over time and needs to be reapplied to the ring as well. (Many jewelers offer add-on packages for this as a result.) The alternative to chromium plated gold is nickel plated gold, which some jewelers use to strengthen their platinum.. Tiffany's, for example, strengthens their platinum with nickel, and their white gold is also nickel plated over the gold. I am very happy with this ring. It's a terrific value and lovely on.
