I bought this watch for two reasons (maybe more but I'll dwell on two). It's my sixth Skagen because they are well-made and tough. The stainless steel cleans with dish soap and a toothbrush and they shine so in bright light, they show tiny blinks if colors. This particular one has a georgous face. The blue is exactly as pictured and had a pearlesque effect. It's very easy to read, very practical for every day and beautiful enough to draw compliments for an evening out.
This is the second Skagen watch I have owned and the only brand I will buy. I have sensitive skin and a rather severe nickel allergy. This watch is totally encased in stainless steel, making it safe for those with nickel allergies. (Other watches I've tried said stainless on the back, but the watch case and much of the watch band were actually white metal containing nickel.) I would prefer the watch face to have numerals in at least the four cardinal points, but this lack is a small price to pay for not having severe dermatitis with a half hour of putting on the watch.
I’ve worn Skagens for years. Repairs thru the company are often cost free. This particular one is not only functional but absolutely gorgeous! It’s my Dressy watch. Just love it!
I love Skagen watches! I have a larger wrist (typically get 8" bracelets if I can find them) And this watch had more than enough room. I love Skagen's mesh watches because you can adjust the band, allowing the product to serve multiple types of wrists. The watch face is also beautiful. Great find!
