This is my birthstone so I'm always hesitant to buy one that is so inexpensive. I have a ton of opal rings from my teenage years to my adult 50's but I liked the look and thought I might be able to pull off being able to wear a ring on my middle or index finger and I was right. I can with this ring! This is really just a fun ring. The opal has very bright colors because of the Enhancemnt. It's very pretty. The gold over silver looks very costumey. Please make this ring in just silver and spare the miniscule diamonds. I would definitely buy that too. I am worried that stretching the shank open and closed too many times will compromise the gold overlay and the prongs that attach the opal. Most Opals are very porous and become very brittle, especially ones this thin and enhanced. But for now fun, fun, fun.
I bought this ring to wear with my jewelry store bought birthstone ring and it matches beautifully. The sapphires are very dark. The only reason I don't give this ring a 5 star rating is the gold overlay is wearing off on the band under the finger, and this is not really visible. Great value for the price.
This ring has a beautiful design and super comfortable fit. i ordered the 18K gold overlay and it has completely worn off the ring in 3 weeks of daily wear. I now just have a nice sterling silver ring but at under $*- oh well.
This ring is absolutely GORGEOUS! My husband just purchased this for me and I instantly fell in LOVE, however, I've only been wearing the ring a few days and already the black rhodium overlay is wearing off! Seeing as he paid a lot of $$$$ for this ring, I didn't expect it to come off so quickly. I already have to send it in to be replated and be without a ring for some time. I'm now hoping that this is actually REAL white gold as stated and not sterling silver. It's pretty upsetting to see this ring, MY ring being sold for less than One Hundred bucks when my husband paid almost 20 times more than that!!
