I bought this for my teen daughter in lieu of a high school class ring. The sapphire is small (approximately 6 x4 mm), but is a pretty medium to dark blue (the color on my phone screen is pretty close to the actual color of the stone). It is not dark navy or black in appearance, but no royal blue/cobalt tones to it either. It is a translucent stone and does have a nice sparkle to it. The diamonds are cloudy with a tinge of yellow, but true to the item description. The bypass part is grooved, which doesn't really show up on my screen. This would be a pretty, feminine ring for a teen girl, or an understated ring for everyday wear--especially if you have smaller hands. I am disappointed that mine had a defect/nick in the bypass part of the metal near the sapphire which is why I gave it a 3 star rating instead of a 4 (defect, although small, is in a highly visible area), so I am returning it. Overall, it is a nice ring for the price--however, I am disappointed with the one I received.
Finally something I'm happy with. Was so worried the width was going to look awkward on my size 5 finger. It doesn't! Order my first ring - 1 1/2ct TDW Halo Engagement Ring with 3/4ct Cushion Cut Center Diamond In 14k Rose Gold (H-I, I1-I2) AND the diamond was cracked Tried again, ordered Bliss 14k Rose Gold 1 ct TDW Morganite and Diamond Cushion Halo Engagement Ring (I-J, I2-I3) It was an unfinished ring. Sharp edges and prongs stuck up. Ouch. Almost gave up, so glad I didn't. Good job Miadora!!!
