The replacement watch was in good condition and I am happy with it. The big issue was the replacement arrived too late for my wifes birthday and also only 50% my my shipping expences were returned. May I suggest more careful inspection of goods prior to shipping. In my case, when I unscrewed the crown to set the time, the crown came off. I am familier with the Rolex product as I also own a Datejust
The watch came in acceptable condition. Only a tiny scratch on the clasp and a rather loose band. I was satisfied with the quality being it was pre-owned. However, I suddenly found myself in financially trouble soon after receiving the watch, and I sent it back to be returned. Overstock rejected my return on the grounds that they watch was defective. I went back and forth over the phone numerous times, trying to speak with different people in order to learn what exactly was defective and why they could not accept it. The people I spoke with evaded every single one of my specific questions about where the scratch or blemish was on the watch. No one would tell me what was wrong with it, only that it was in unacceptable condition to be returned. Basically, Overstock did not want to accept the return on this expensive item, so they fabricated a lie about me damaging the watch. I absolutely certain i did not damage the watch in any way. I asked many times for before and after pictures detailing where i damaged it, and i never got any sort of tangible response whatsoever. Overstock falsely claimed damages in order to be able to deny my return. Essentially the scenario was he-said-she-said. However, they had absolutely no proof or justification other than telling me i "damaged it", and I know for a fact I did nothing to harm the item. The watch itself is a good price and it is reassuring to buy from a site like this rather than a random online vendor. However, Overstock was very scummy in dealing with my return, and if i could do it again, I would have purchased the watch elsewhere.
The watch came in excellent condition, however it was a few links short. I had to find and order matching Jubilee links to make it fit. It also runs quite fast, but it's a Rolex, so I can deal with it.
