I am very happy with this necklace. It's nice and long. The pearls are big and I feel it looks like quality fine jewelry. I will wear it a lot and I'm going layer it with another pearl and chain necklace. It's a more modern way to wear pearls than the standard graduated strand. I love that they are real for what I believe is a very fair price.
After a necklace I previously ordered was out of stock, I decided to order this necklace. The specs said 45 pearls at 8-9mm, and treatment as none. I have 54 pearls on the strand I received. The pearls are suppose to be AAA and although nice, certainly not AAA; some of the pearls are misshapen and the pearls are somewhat dull, lacking the AAA luster and shine. Furthermore, the pearls I just ordered aren't even 8-9mm; more like 7mm. I have a 7mm Akoya white pearl strand and comparing the size of the black pearls results in the black pearls being identical in size to the 7mm sized pearls on my Akoya. I also have a white Akoya bracelet with white pearls at 8 -9 mm, the pearls on this DaVonna necklace are definitely smaller. I have a Chocolate Pearl necklace from Overstock with 8-9 mm pearls, and the size of the pearls of the chocolate strand are also larger. Furthermore looking at the picture for the DaVonna strand featured and why I bought it, the pearls are a nice black with a bluish hue. So instead of 45 AAA 8-9 mm 18" stand of black pearls with a bluish overtone or shining luster, I received a strand of 54 probably 18" no more than a single class A black pearls at 7 mm, with out any significant luster. I have a gorgeous Chocolate necklace from Overstock, so I'm thinking this was an inadvertent whoops??? I'll be returning this one and hopefully it can be replaced with the necklace advertised and shown in the picture with the specs advertised ????
