My wife wanted some stud earrings that she could wear with either her pearl or silver necklaces. This is a great compromise, very flexible with her wardrobe and jewelry collection. They are very lovely, the pearls themselves are great shine for freshwater, and there is plenty of 'bling' from the diamond trim. Stones that small are probably not great quality, but their purpose is really just to catch/reflect the light and frame the pearl appropriately. The backing/stud portion itself is sturdy, not terribly concerned with the product breaking. Not trying to oversell these earrings by any means, they aren't red carpet fashion, but make a well-thought gift that can compliment many different outfits and styles. Wonderful value for the money.
