I will be returning this item. Although it is not a bad value for the cost, the color of the amethyst is very washed out and a disappointment. One of my pet peeves is a chain that is so cheaply made as to be unusable, which is the case with the chain included with this pendant. Even a flimsy chain adds to the cost of the item, but if it's not usable it's money wasted. If I have to switch out the chain why pay for the one I won't use? If it were just the fact that I don't care for the style of the chain it would be understandable. But in this case, as in many others, the chain that was included wasn't really substantial enough to securely support the pendant. I would prefer to pay a bit more for a piece of jewelry with a functional chain or provide my own without paying for something that I really can't use. Although overall this is not a terrible value for the money, I will be returning this item. It might make a nice gift for a young girl - a step up from off-the-rack costume jewelry but not a tragedy if something happens to it.
Amazing. Price is right color is beautiful and it sparkles . Favorite piece of jewelry I own. Probably going to buy more for Christmas gifts since it's an amazing deal . Oh and the size is perfect .
The actual amethyst and tanzanite is a little lighter than in the online picture--still gorgeous, and even comes with a card from Miadora to authenticate the piece. Against the skin the tanzanite almost looks white, while the amethyst is more of a lavender. Very pretty!
I got this as a gift for my mom and it's a beautiful stone with plenty of sparkle. the chain could be a bit thicker, we switched it out for a stronger one for fear this one would break easily. But altogether a nice item.
This pendant was exactly as pictured on website. Beautiful combo of the 2 gemstones. Only issue I have is that the pendant sometimes flips backward with normal movement--probably due to light weight of piece. Overall I am very happy and also want to purchase matching earrings and a ring or bracelet.
