My husband loves his G-Shock watches. He is very rough on jewelry and this is the only watch that can handle his abuse. He works on cars so putting his arm in tight places is just one of the reasons why this watch suits him. Water resistant and scratch resistant are key factors why we continue to buy these watches.
This watch is solid and I like the fact it is water resistant. I took this watch to use for the military and I've worn it for a while and still in good working condition.
It is a very nice Rolex Mariner styled watch. I purchased it because I wanted a 100 meter water resistant stainless steel watch for use at the beach and boating and not have to worry if I lose it or it leaks. This fits the bill, looks nice and has a quality feel and nice heft. The bracelet is solid, not hollow like some other brands at this price. The quartz movement is Miyota, a good Japanese company, but it is their base movement. The stainless case and bracelet are polished nicely, with brushed center links in the bracelet for a nice contrast. The pros are: 100 meter water resistant, accurate quartz movement, screw down crown, large easy to read hands and markers, and all stainless construction. The cons are: The bezel clicks like an old Craftsman wrench when rotated, there is lots of play in the time setting mechanism, the second hand does not always align with the marks on the face and screw down crown feels like there is sand in it right out of the box. But what do you expect for $*? It is what it is, an inexpensive water resistant Rolex styled watch.
