Ever look for a simple watch with all the dial numerals (i.e., no Roman numerals, blank dials, etc.)?? I launch my fishing boat pre-dawn and need a watch that I can view in the dark. This watch meets that need perfectly. It has the feature where you can illuminate the entire face by pusing in the crown. That makes viewing a snap. Moreover, it's great for any marine activity where there is a potential to break one of the strap pins. The "under the casing strap routing feature prevents losing the entire watch overboard if one strap pin breaks. Very comfortable as well. All-in-all, a perfect solution to my needs .. for less than $*&!
Very attractive pocket watch. I wind it once a day and maintains acceptable time. Seems to gain 1 minute between windings. Both front lid and back lid will open showing mechanism. Very attractive color. A little difficult to read numbers quickly with the Roman numerals and mechanism showing in the center. But all in all good watch for the price. Chain is so so. It has a slip on hook for belt/pants, I changed with my other pocket watch(I have 4 total) which has the hook for the belt loop. Feels more secure to me. But watch does look nice.
Just received it recently but I am very satisfied with the look of this watch. My first manual mechanical watch. Looks far more expensive than it actually cost. The Roman numerals add a classy touch.
