I bought this watch for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it! I thought it was very attractive and wasn't overly sized. Some men's watches can be, but this one was perfect!
I love pilot style timepieces that feature mechanical movements, which is what drew me to this Stuhrling Original 457 Legacy Sport. I purchased the black case with light blue hour markers and hands. The mechanical-wind movement that can be viewed through the exhibition caseback is just beautiful. The 45mm case diameter is in that sweet spot size for most guys. This is a model that has seemed to fly under the radar when it comes to Stuhrling models as I think it is one of their better designs along with the fact that it is mechanical. If you love mechanical movements, pull the trigger on this one. You can't beat it for the price.
The RT men's 45mm automatic diver is a nice looking, sturdy dive watch (rated to 300m). But fairly heavy - weighing in at 235 grams (to date the heaviest watch I own) and very thick, boasting a higher-than-average profile extending off the wrist. The illumination is very poor and the bezel is much too loose to be used as a serious diver, imo. Illumination of both hands (hour and minutes) and at 12 marker and all 5 minute markers are extremely weak to the point that it does not retain enough light-energy for the lowest of illumination; and what energy it does retain doesn't last longer than maybe 10 seconds. Overall, if you have large wrists, are looking for a daily wearer that's built like a tank and you don't need night illumination or will need to dive with it (loose bezel), this isn't a bad buy. Note that the bracelet/band width is 24MM (not 20MM as stated under the product's description).
