Bought this last minute for my husband- 6'4 200 lb man- don't be fooled by the word "junior" It is beautiful! Great price- he'll never know the deal I got! Arrived overnight just as promised-
I ordered this watch for my husband for our anniversary. My husband thought that the watch was absolutely beautiful and was really surprised. Unfortunately, when my husband went to put the watch on, it would not fit his wrist. He has very big wrists and I should have remembered this when ordering a watch with a strap. He was disappointed because the strap is 'alligator' leather and said that it was the most beautiful watch he had ever seen. I went to August Steiner's web site and they wanted about $200 for the same watch. I paid about $39 for it at Overstock so it was really a bargain. So I would recommend it to anyone who has 'normal' size wrists. You won't be disappointed!
I needed a lightweight watch for hiking because my stainless steel Luminox got heavy while lifting my arm on the trail all day. This was a perfect choice weighing in at just 56 grams. I barely even feel it on my wrist. I love the ice blue tritium markers on the hour marks. It makes telling the time in the middle of the night in the firehouse bunkroom a breeze. It has a 200 meter (656ft) water resistance rating, making this an entry level diver watch. Most of us will not be diving with this but now I don't need to worry at all when I go swimming in the pool. The silicone band is comfortable and allows for many different wrist sizes. I have a smaller wrist and there are still 3 holes left on the band so no one should have a hard time making it fit. The blue everything is very sporty and stylish, matching perfectly with the rest of my black and blue hiking gear. This watch was well worth the money. I'm very happy with my purchase. TIP: buy the Overstock jewelry protection plan because Luminox will not cover certain things because it's from Overstock. And it may halep to clear yup some things the product description. First of all, the watch is made of lightweight carbon reinforced polycarbonate, not stainless steel. Secondly, it has a hardened mineral dial window, not both. It says this on the caseback (see pictures). And thirdly, the caseback is a screw-down, not a snap down (see pictures). Hope that helps some of you considering this product
