After decades of wearing my original wedding ring and knuckles enlarging with age, I replaced the old with this new Titanium one. It is stylish, light weight and was a fraction of what local jewelers wanted for the exact same ring.
Pros: Comfortable fit Size accurate ( to what local jeweler sized) Aesthetics like picture Quick standard shipping to Hawaii Cons: Color not same as pictured- lighter like white tungsten and other similar bands on website. I decided to purchase this ring for my S.O. as he liked this particular style we saw at a local jeweler but they didn't carry a size 8 in stock which would be a 4-6wk special order and it was ~6x the cost of this ring here. Their standard size was 10. The tungsten ring was indeed a dark grey tone with a 5.5-6 mm step beveled band and I found this seem to be a close match in terms of design and color, but a wider band. It had high ranked reviews that I decided to purchase. The shipping speed was quick as I ordered it on Fri night 12/9/16 HST and it arrived today, 12/12/16. It arrived in a ordinary box. I would change it out if it were a gift or wedding presentation like another reviewer mentioned. Much to my surprise, the color was much lighter than pictured. I was disappointed in that. My S.O. says he likes it- we both agree that it does look good on him. But we both know he wanted a darker colored ring. This was purchased to replace his gold ring he lost in the yard. So, what is actually the difference from cheaper ones such as ITEM#: 15876745 ? https://www.overstock.com/Jewelry-Watches/Oliveti-Brushed-Cobalt-Mens-Beveled-Edge-Comfort-Fit-Band-7-mm/8608548/product.html I can't tell the difference other than the price.
This review is a bit dated as my husband has been wearing this ring for over two years now. We had been married about 28 years when he came home from work (he is a blue collar worker) distressed because he had been wearing his wedding ring and it must have slipped off his finger as he removed his gloves-- it was winter time and it was cold and there was snow on the ground etc. For two weeks he called all the places on his route and no one had found it on the ground. He felt bad; but what can you do? A year later we found ourselves at a Renaissance Fair and there was a jeweler there selling copper bands. I bought the ring of his choice and he wore for about 2 years and then it broke. It was a year later and Christmas was approaching. He had mentioned that he felt like he should have a band. On the sly I began to price bands online. Of course, gold prices are much higher than they were when we first got married. And I kept searching. Oddly enough I began looking at the jewelry at Overstock and was surprised at the variety of styles. With my husband's propensity for for losing his ring and/or wearing it out I thought this particular band looked sharp and durable, in addition to being rather easy on the budget. It was purchased wrapped up and put under the Christmas tree. Our children, all grown up with mates and children of their own, were impressed by their mother's sneaky resourcefulness and sense of style. My husband was speechless. He immediately put it on, the sizing was perfect. And now he wears it all the time. And when the kids weren't looking he whispered in my ear how happy he was with the ring and gave me a heart stopping kiss. Two years later he is still wearing the ring and it wears so well that it looks just as good as the day I bought it. This is a great ring. You won't be disappointed!
