Bought this ring to replace the Tungsten ring my husband lost because it was sized too big. Paid 3x the amount for the lost ring that was same as this ring at jewelers. We went with a half size smaller than his measured finger., because read you should with Tungsten. Fits perfect
My husband lost his first "trainer" wedding band less than a year into our marriage (luckily, it was tungsten and not very expensive). The tungsten was too heavy and thick. When I gave him this ring for our first anniversary, he was surprised. It was a lot more comfortable and was still a nice thick width (the price was right for the width). It was more shiny than expected, thus not five stars. It took a while wearing it for him to get over how shiny it was and put coat of dirt and knicks to make it look more manly.
My husband specifically request a tungsten or titanium band for durability. I went with tungsten because it rates higher on the Moh's hardness scale and should have been pretty scratch resistant. We have been married about 9 months and the ring has scratches all around it. My husband is in I.T. and works on a computer all day. He doesn't do any manual labor and he doesn't wear it at the gym. The ring has been scratched up for a few months now. I am disappointed with the purchase. It has scratched easily for him easily. Luckily i purchased a protection plan
