I own three Hamilton watches. They are time tested as this company built the time pieces for the railroad and the soldiers during WWII. Was one of the last American made watches. Company is now owned by Swatch Group.
This is a railroad legacy timepiece. My grandfather gave me a Hamilton RR pocket watch and this new Hamilton wrist watch just made sense. The size is 44 or 45 mm in diameter which is a excellent size for a wrist watch. The hour and minute hands have glowing tips as well as each hour mark. The exhibition back is always a positive for someone who appreciates the craftsmanship of a fine watch movement. The exaggerated date window is awesome as I don't have to squint to see what the date is. This should be an heirloom much like grandfathers pocket watch.
This is a very well made and sharp looking dress watch. The dial is simple and uncluttered, the gold hour and minute hands and the small second hand at the 9 o'clock position really pop against the silver dial. The magnifier over the date is functional, integrated into the case and looks great. Overall a great watch.
