Pretty, slender band
I've had this ring for some time now, and it has held up fairly well to occasional wear. It is a narrow band - about 3mm, as advertised - and is fairly thin. I find that it is fine for wearing as a temporary wedding band - for times when your own band can't be worn because it must be adjusted for size, repaired, or soldered to your own engagement ring, for example. It would also make a great thumb ring, a stack ring, or a right hand fashion ring. Wearing as a daily-wear wedding band probably wont be as satisfactory in the long run. The rhodium plating isn't as thick on this as it is on a regular white gold wedding ring, in order to keep the price of this ring in line, therefore won't last as long. The cost of rhodium replating itself is more than the cost of the ring, so financially speaking isn't really a viable option. Your best bet is to do as I have done, or others have also, and wear it as an occasional piece, or as a thumb ring, which can extend its viable wearing time, or as a stack ring which should do likewise. I haven't had any problems with it, so long as I continue to use it as an occasional wear piece.
I just received this ring and I am so pleased. This is the perfect dome ring. I have looked for and purchased several rings that were so called "dome" style rings in the past. This ring has a sophisticated and classic design. It has a slight dome, not a huge dome that looks ridiculous on the finger. The high polish "gold" finish is beautiful. I am sure I will have to be careful not to scratch the finish but the look today, right now is simply amazing. I highly recommend this ring for a very classy look.
