Overpriced Piece of Garbage
I paid $*** for this cross and necklace thinking I was getting a deal. When it arrived it looked like solid gold and I was impressed with the aesthetic quality, but everything went downhill from there. After a couple of weeks, the clasp on the chain broke. I brought it to a jeweler to replace the clasp. A couple weeks after that the gold started to turn and the necklace took on a grayish hue. The cross itself started getting a black/gray hue around the edges. I know this wasn't solid gold, but I have purchased similar gold filled items before that lasted years. Also, the description said gold-filled, not ion plated and the back of the cross has GF on it. If it had been advertised as ion-plated, I never would have purchased it and especially not at $**. Perhaps this was a case of false advertising - either way, what a waste of money.
