I chose this ring as my wedding band because 1. I didn't want an engagement ring and 2. I didn't want a plain ol' silver wedding band. This ring fit my criteria... under a hundred dollars, the stones must be channel set so I wouldn't have to worry too much about losing a stone, the stones had to rate at least a 7 on the mohs scale for everyday wear, and the silver couldn't be bulky or skimpy so it wouldn't get in the way or break. Bonus, the sapphires a lovely!
The white gold band is so thin which is barely 1.8 mm . The diamonds are soooo small. This is the first time I see such small diamonds in my life. But at least the blue topaz is beautiful. I think if they charge nearly 600 usd, the band should be more sturdy. I am sitting on the fence between keeping and returning. The setting is high and pretty like on the woman's finger in the picture.
Positives: This is a great and affordable ring. My fiancee really loved it, and has gotten many compliments on it. Many people believed that the ring costed more than it actually did. This ring shows that engagement rings do not always have to be diamond rings. Overall, I've been very pleased! Negatives: When the ring gets dirty you can see the dirt under the stone. In addition, make sure you know your bride's ring size because re-sizing can be a pain with Overstock.
I was under the impression that the sapphires and diamonds went all around the ring, especially seen as they called it stackable. Especially for the price. However, the pink sapphires are nicely pink and the diamonds sparkle. Just realize that half the band has no diamonds or sapphires on it.
