This is a lovely necklace. The stainless steel is shiny and looks like silver. The person who received this loved it.

  • Love Both Colors - Steel Will Not Tarnish
    Verified Purchase

I adore pearl and silver jewelry. I think the combination is simple and elegant. Unfortunately, silver tarnishes easily and silver cleaners will harm pearls, which are more delicate than you might think. White gold is a good substitution, but it is increasingly expensive. Enter stainless steel! It looks like silver, it glitters and throws back white light, but it will not oxidize like silver. Ever. These necklaces are delightful. The pearls are luminous and the chain has just the right amount of silvery sparkle. It is well made. I can't decide which color I like better. The peachy pearl is more of a light creamy champagne color and goes well with warm colored clothing (corals, oranges, salmons, browns) and the white pearls look fantastic with gray (I wear a lot of gray). I meant to keep one and give the other away as a gift, but now I think I'll keep both and buy more. The price is really good, so why not?
