I gave it a 4 star rating because the shipping was bad. It was supposed to be here on a Tuesday and it came on a Friday. I've had other promise rings that I wear on my right hand. With the setting being higher on this one, you can see the diamond clearer. I am not sure if it really is .5 carats because .5 would mean 1/2 of 1. I don't know what to compare that with in size. I tried comparing it with my other diamond that I thought is a bit smaller, but couldn't really tell. It does have a nice sparkle to it. It would be great for a proposal and then you could upgrade if she says yes. It's also great for those high school couples. It could also be used for a purity ring. I have been studying the 4 C's a bit for diamonds and I knew this wouldn't be a very clear stone. But it's still a diamond and I think it is more than a diamond chip as it has been described as before. It is small, but I have seen diamond chips and this is quite a bit different than a diamond chip.
My bestie and I got these to celebrate 18 years of friendship. They arrived and are beautiful. I'd have given a higher rating, but a diamond fell out of hers after having it just over a year. She takes hers off to wash hands, etc, so sje didnt do anything to aggravate it. Mine is doing well.
Great looking ring for everyday wear since I live in a large city with its staggering crime rate. This ring is something that is not a bling bling eye catching piece but rather elegant and sophisticated. I plan on ordering s second one as well.
I rated this 4 stars because the three blue diamonds are not the same color. To me, this is a perk because, as representatives of past, present, and future, one would assume they would not be the same! Other folks might find this to be a detraction from the ring though. Although the three blue diamonds are not the exact shade, they are close. I love it and find it to be the perfect ring for a 25th Anniversary!
