I thought my new Fiancé would not like the ring because it was not a big rock. But in all reality, she loved it because it was simple. She said a big diamond would get snagged reaching in her pocket or purse. So she loves more than anything. Thank you Overstock.com. I purposed to her on a cruise ship on 10/7/14 and she said yes.
As far as my quick week-long online research, this is the best deal on around-1/4 ct TDW rings. Sterling silver band, real diamonds, and an in style look. (This "buckle" style is showing up a lot in retail) This is the best choice at the price point. Brown diamond are the least rare of diamonds, they make up 3/4's of the diamonds mined, and were only used on drill bit tips until the 80's. These rocks are cut somewhat rough and inconsistently, and will not be mistaken for your typical white diamond. Regardless, they are real diamonds, and make for a dare I say CUTE ring. After having this ring 3 weeks, there are no missing or broken jewels, her only complaint being a snug fit. She gets plenty of complements, from her elementary kids at work, to strangers on the street. Her mom claims to have seen a very similar ring at Sam's Club for over $200. Overall, I think once seeing the ring you will agree it shows it's cheapness, but is priced fairly. Approx. $50 for sterling silver and a 1/4 ct of diamonds even if they are translucent-tan? I'll take it.
My husband and I decided to buy new sets of wedding rings for our upcoming 10 year anniversary. The minute I saw this ring, I wanted it :) I kept eyeing this one. Looked at the reviews, saw good and bad comments. I even checked out other rings, but none really caught my eye like this one. So, we went for it. We even bought the matching band that was suggested with this ring. The ring is beautiful, pretty, elegant, but I must say, I was a bit upset because the band on this ring is very thin. I mean very very thin. As thin as a penny is the best way I could compare it to. I think I was comparing this ring to my current ring which has a much thicker band. So, I pondered over this ring. Trying to figure out if I wanted it or not. If it was worth it or not. I even went back on the site searching for other rings because I was sure I would return this one, but again, I still really liked this ring. Even with the band, the ring was still thin to me. So, I decided I would buy another band (one engagement ring with two bands). Got the 2nd band, and it worked out great. It's as thick as I would like it to be with a big rock in the middle. It shines so beautifully in the light! :) People were commenting on my ring before and after I bought the 2nd band. I'm pleased with my ring. My husband also bought a ring very similar to mine. We never had white gold with black diamond rings before, so this was a first for us(our first set of rings were yellow gold). So far so good for us! I hope this helps someone else in their decision making.
