Beautiful 5 stone ring. Been wearing it every day since Christmas and have received many compliments. Goes perfect with my 1 carat solitaire engagement ring. Great buy.
I gave it a 4 star rating because the shipping was bad. It was supposed to be here on a Tuesday and it came on a Friday. I've had other promise rings that I wear on my right hand. With the setting being higher on this one, you can see the diamond clearer. I am not sure if it really is .5 carats because .5 would mean 1/2 of 1. I don't know what to compare that with in size. I tried comparing it with my other diamond that I thought is a bit smaller, but couldn't really tell. It does have a nice sparkle to it. It would be great for a proposal and then you could upgrade if she says yes. It's also great for those high school couples. It could also be used for a purity ring. I have been studying the 4 C's a bit for diamonds and I knew this wouldn't be a very clear stone. But it's still a diamond and I think it is more than a diamond chip as it has been described as before. It is small, but I have seen diamond chips and this is quite a bit different than a diamond chip.
I do like the ring. I went with the 1/2 carat after reading the other reviews. It's a very, very dainty ring. I think the full carat may have looked a little silly because the band is very thin.I see no flaws with the diamond, but the prong setting is crooked. It's only noticeable if you are observing very closely, but it does bother me. I love the textured silver. I am uneasy about the China stamp on the inside of the jewelry. It certainly puts the authenticity of the silver, and the diamond, into question. I will be having a jeweler look at it, but, it is a very pretty ring. I love how it sparkles. and it is a very cute and sweet ring.
