Really big, fun, beautiful ring - in the 50's and 60's this would have been called a "cocktail" or "dinner" ring, but today I'd call it a "statement" ring. Everyone notices and remarks on how pretty it is - the colors of the amazonite and London blue topaz compliment each other beautifully and the gold gleams. I think that as I wear it over time the gold could fade a bit (pretty normal) to reveal the sterling silver beneath, but the hammered texture should handle this well and I don't expect it to be a problem. Overall very happy with this purchase, I feel like royalty when I wear it!
Agree with other reviewers regarding this ring, It's hard to imagine what this ring will look like on a hand, but what do you have to lose? You can always return! I don't have access to a jeweler that sells such high quality "fakes" as this brand, and it's almost mind-boggling to see the quality of the design and the settings of the Suzy Levian jewelry. This ring has a soft, elegant sparkle, and conforms to the hand in a way that is not "clunky". Don't size up on this, it's true to size. I see it as a very dressy ring, saving it for special dates. The unusual design should remain stylish for many years.
