If hot pink morganite is your desire, go elsewhere. This very large morganite beryl is a beautiful, delicate pastel shade of salmon-peachy-pink. It is well-cut and performs its reflective duties admirably without being excessively showy, though you cannot miss seeing it. The photos capture the stone well and show the beautiful but simple setting. The pale rose gold component of the two-tone setting (with palladium, a relative of platinum) serves to show off the stone better than the rose variety. I love this ring and appreciate its one-of-a-kind uniqueness.
This ring is set with a 2-3 carat oval cut orange sapphire with good transparency to the naked eye which takes center stage in an intricate and innovative 14K YG setting with a vintage but streamlined feel. I can hardly find any negative about this ring. It is not inexpensive, but the artistry, workmanship, and materials are above average, so it is not really a bad value. Fine jewelry with a precious colored stone (as is sapphire) rather than a semi-precious one often comes at an even higher price than this example. In short, this ring does all that its designer intended and its owner could desire and is an example of a Valitutti at its best. It is surprising it is not classified as a "one-of-a-kind".
