This watch was a gift and I haven't heard any bad news about it so I suppose everything is as it should be, I have bought Casio in the past and have always been satisfied.
After seven-years my ironman brand watch died and couldn’t be repaired. Based on my water and outdoor sports life-style I needed another sturdy watch, and the Casio G-Shock appeared to meet this need. I have owned this watch for six months and I found …. (1) The watch to be easy to set (2) The rubbery structure makes the watch water proof, durable and comfortable to wear (3) The watch is easy to read in all environments due to the size of the numbers and built-in night light button (4) This watch is similar to my previous watch, but cost extremely less. I feel like a theft because I paid such a low price (5) The downsize is: Occasionally, I need to use a Q-tip with alcohol to remove white film from a few design grooves on the watch band due to swimming in chlorine treated swimming pools.
I looked at over 50 different watches before selecting the Casio Edifice. I'm very happy with the quality of the watch and it is very comfortable. The presentation is spot on and the dial is easy to read. I recommend this watch to anyone wanting a sporty stylish time piece at an affordable price.
Really great watch I've owned about 4 Casio watches over the last 30 years and they've all been great and highly accurate. It's very lite and comfortable to wear, even for long hours/all day. This one is feature loaded. Besides obvious time & date there's compas, temp. Moon phases, sun rise, sun set, digital time second city location time. The manual for all theses things being set up is 76 pages of tiny lettering just in English alone. So in your initial setup of this watch be prepared to spend a good hour or two! But after reading through the manual and working with the watch it's easily mastered. I really do love it!
