My seven year old son goes in Lego waves, so for his Bday we got him a lego watch and this clock. It's a neat little thing, but of course the first thing he notice was that it was too big to build with... followed shortly by the alarm on/off button. The controls are underneath, like the alarm and clock set, then there is a lock for them (thankfully), I'm assuming for curious little people who like to push buttons. The right front "knob" is the alarm set button, and to snooze you simply push the entire clock down (it's on tiny feet which activate the snooze when depressed :-) We all had fun setting it up, learning how to use it, it's big and red and looks great in his room. It's also cordless (we move it to bathroom for a toothbrushing timer), so keep some batteries on hand. It's lightweight and does not feel sturdy, so I would recommend for a child who is old enough to be gentle with the clock to prolong its life. If this one doesn't make it I'd have no problem with buying another though!
