Beware when ordering this ring. The center stone is described as: Center stone Diamonds: One Center cut: Round Diamond weight: 2 3/8 carats Color: Black Clarity: I2-I3 Setting: Prong This is not the case. It is more like 1 carat. The rest of the ring is as described. I'm thinking about returning it. It is overpriced for a 1 carat black diamond.
the ring is very pretty and gets lots of compliments. however the gold work is not fine and a bit sloppy, The large black diamond does have what looks like a chip in it, the white diamonds do not sparkle.
Out of the box, the ring is beautiful. Just don't expect it to look exactly as pictured, though it's close enough. The center stone is large, likely the size stated. The stone is tall (sits deep into the setting), but isn't as wide as pictured. The table is great for the setting, but the side facet cuts seem too deep. The stone appears more slender because of it. Still, it looks very nice. The white diamonds around the rest of the ring aren't phenomenal, but again adequate. As another commented mentioned, they're not fancy cuts. Don't expect them to reflect and shine except in the best, brightest light. Again, it still looks good when all combined. The metal detailing around the main setting isn't crisp and clean. It's slightly loose, but again, unless you're putting this under a magnifying glass, it's pretty. All in all, perfection, this is not. A great buy for the price? I think so. I would buy it again.
This is a good quality black and white diamond, Look great on my wife figure with a great fit. Size was perfect sized as advertised, White gold looks good with the multi color diamonds.
The description says 1/3 tcw of white diamond side stones. I'm no expert but I can say with confidence that the description is inflated. It is also described as a high polish setting. This also is a little exaggerated. The cutouts on the setting are far less detailed than the photos show on Overstock site. This is the 3rd ring, all different rings that I've ordered since X-mas and I haven't been impressed yet. The first two went back. I will probably keep this one because quite frankly I'm tired of dealing with the return process. The ring isn't awful, but it isn't fabulous either. Maybe I expect too much, I don't know. I just don't think it is jeweler quality, but like the title says, pretty enough.
