I purchased this for $*** plus free shipping and would definitely recommend it. It arrived in 4 business days and it is lovely. I'm unsure how a rug gives someone a headache but maybe that person should get his/her eyes checked. I use this one in my condo/loft living room and it helps keep everything from sliding on the wood floors. I did put it over a rug pad and would definitely recommend this. Pro: soft fabric, colors are great, keeps sectional from separating, easy to clean and pickup/shake out Con: thin, arrived with one imperfection/snag
I was so excited to have this in my new blue and white dining room but the picture does not even come close to what the rug looks like. The picture makes the rug look more blue than white and I found it to be the opposite. The quality of the rug is not for a formal dining room. And, yes, it did hurt my eyes to look at the rug. Unless you have it covered up at least 50% with other decor, it could make your eyes go nuts just trying to look at the rug. I returned this rug because both the ends of the rug were frayed.
Love this rug, the color is darker than the photo.
This is a Great rug! The color is perfect and was exactly as shown in photograph. The rug was very light and easy to manage. The rug is great quality and looks to be durable. I would highly recommend this rug.
I love the way this rug looks, but unfortunately the strings have been pulled loose in multiple places causing loops to stick out (this has been cause by my dog's nails and furniture being moved over top the rug). This is pretty noticeable because of the pattern. However I still love the rug and think it adds a nice color/texture to my room. In order to solve for the loops, I "give the rug a hair cut" every-once-in-a-while which creates gaps in the pattern which I actually think adds a cool aesthetic. I am considering sewing in different color strings in the gaps to add more color.
Color and description accurate. Snags easily
I liked the pattern of this rug, although I can see why others thought it was a little dizzying to look at. However, only one day after receiving it, my daughter spilled water on it. The blue immediately bled into the white and left a circle where the water spilled. I returned it the next day.
This is a cotton rug, so if you want something plush and soft-add a thick rug pad. I put this in my lake house dining room and I could not be happier. It is really cute and exactly what I was looking for.
This rug is very cute and comfortable with a thick pad under it. The busyness of the pattern made me dizzy until I got all of the furniture in it. This is the first cotton rug I ever purchased. I would not buy another cotton again. it was a pain trying to straighten is and get furniture organized on it. I like my wool rugs.
I ordered the 8x10 rug for my living room. Was easy to roll out and looks great on my hardwood floor. More of cotton rope style and the white is more of an off white color. Using with a felt pad underneath for traction and padding. Great rug for my needs and I get a lot of compliments on it.
The quality of rug is good. The color was more like a peach, not orange. Did not look like picture.
The rug is the perfect size under my dining room table, I purchase the 6" x 9" size in Grey. It's perfect for my farmhouse theme but it also has a touch of elegance with its herringbone design so it isn't too casual either. You will need a rug pad or rug tape to hold it in place at least around the edges since it is a flat weave. But, I love it. It's exactly what I was looking for to bring this look all together, now just trying to figure out my curtains. I also have previously purchased a nuLoom rug, this is a great brand and I've persoanlly been to their showroom at High Point, NC.
I loved this rug for my son's nursery. The orange and white colors are bright and fun. I would caution that it's difficult to clean since it's a flatweave area rug and any stains are going to set in.
We purchased this rug for our living room. We have hardwood floors, grey walls, and white woodwork. The Chevron pattern is subtle, but gives extra character! A rug pad really helps keep the rug in place and looking nice. We love it! The only negative is that our kitty cats have caught their claws on a loop or two and it will need to be pulled through the underside of the rug to smooth the loop of yarn.
The pattern is lovely, but I wouldn't recommend this rug for a high traffic area. My small dog uses our living room rug as a stopping point when running around on our hardwood floors. I've only had the rug one week and there are already loops of fabric pulling out of the weave. I can't imagine what constant traffic would do to it! I'll be moving it to a less used area of my home. Also, if you are using it on hardwood floors, you must have a rug pad.
This rug is a fantastic vibrant light yellow. It really cheers up my dull room. The pattern is lovely. It's high quality material and the weaving is well done. I gave it 4 stars for these two annoying reasons. One, the material is rough. The rug is thin. It absolutely needs a rubberized nonslip rug pad underneath it to keep it in place. Or the rug will keep shifting. Two, vacuuming the rug is not easy. I had my vacuum on the "carpet" setting. It's unfortunate I had to learn the hard way. On the "carpet" setting the vacuum pulled out the yarn like woven material. You can't press the pulled out yarn back in the rug either. Please put the vacuum on the "bare floor" setting as not to damage it. Furthermore, you have to vacuum the rug in one direction. You can't vacuum it back and fort or the rug will bunch up even with the nonslip pad underneath it. Also, if you stain the rug please don't rub the cleaning solvent back and forth. Please dab the stain or the woven yarn looks frayed. I hope my review helps.
This rug looked good on the site. The pattern is dizzying with the chevron pattern going opposite ways. It was also very linty at first - took a few weeks for everyone and everything to store picking up fine fuzz. Several places have already had threads pull into loops. With some work you can usually flatten them out or pull them through the back but I feel like that's a lot of effort after only one month of use. Overall I wouldn't recommend for high traffic areas but otherwise it does the job. Very soft texture and thin, which is what I wanted. Put a non skid rug pad underneath to lock it in place.
This rug is huge.....it was a bit different than I imagined-it IS COTTON and almost reminded me of a big-blanket on the floor-you definitely need a skid-proof liner under the rug if you are using it on a hardwood floor. All that being said-I do like the rug-it’s clean looking and simple but makes a really nice addition in the “cat-play room!”
Big fan of flatweave rugs and this one didn't disappoint. The quality of the rug is amazing. Super soft and material is durable. The color I ordered exceeded my expectations.
Great rug and durable. We have had this rug for nearly a year and we have 3 boys and a pug!!! It holds up well to all traffic and vacuum's easily. We purchased the orange and it sits under our dining table against dark wood floors...looks beautiful. The soft cotton feels nice under your feet. Only suggestion is a recommended rug pad if you don't have anything heavy to anchor it. If you are considering this for your foyer or mud room...get a rug pad!!! I would definitely purchase again. I hope this helps with your decision. Good Luck!!!
