Consistently produces amazing rice. It's so simple to use and gets it right every time.
It took us almost 40 years to find a suitable rice cooker to replace our old National. This one is hands down the best one on the market. The rice comes out perfectly, clean-up is a breeze and the Warmer works great. Definitely worth the price and I highly recommend it to anyone considering purchasing one.
Long grain rice is the standard in the US. Why does Zojirushi provide menus and level markings only for short/medium grain rice? If you go to grain chart on their web site, you'll find instructions for long grain white rice (but not LG brown rice) and the NP-HCC10 capacity drops from 5.5 to 3 rice cups. The machine still cooks great rice but I made a purchase decision based on misleading menus and capacities.
Pricey but worth it. Each family member enjoyed our Zojisushi rice cooker so much, they now each have one. Well worth the investment.

it's very good, the only complain i have is when lid open it squeaks. for rick cooker at this price range i expect it to be perfect. otherwise than that it works perfectly
Easy to use and does a great job of cooking rice to perfection… never knew is was this easy!!
This rice cooker works well. The rice I prepare in it turns out quite nicely. The instruction manual that comes with it is basically useless. Any question I had about the operation and maintenance of this device, I had to go to YouTube to find an answer. This was kind of annoying especially considering the cost of this device.
Rice cooks perfectly every time. I sometimes leave rice in cooker for a day and cooker will not dry out or burn the rice.
We found this difficult to use and confusing. The clock only set in 10 minute increments, in Military time. We had difficulty understanding the instructions. We are returning it.
