outdoor APak® Alarm System monitors liquid in sump pits, sewage ejector pits, pump chambers, holding tanks, and other water systems outside the home. It is a NEMA 4X rated enclosure so it can withstand outdoor weather conditions without issue. This particular unit comes with a 15' mechanical float switch to indicate a high-water level. APak alarm will provide an audible and visual warning if the water level presents the danger of overflow. This gives you time to act and protect property from flooding. During standard operation the APak alarm is powered by a 115 V circuit. A light will illumine giving you a visual that the device is receiving power. In the event of high water, red LED lights will illuminate around the periphery of the enclosure and a buzzer will sound notifying you of a potential problem. The audible buzzer is rated at 85 decibels at 10' so it is recognizable even when installed outside the home. The APak also includes a Silence/Reset/Test toggle switch that allows you to manually initiate important functions. The compact design makes it easy to install on a basement wall or the exterior of the home. With an APak® alarm in place, you'll be alerted of any high-water events so you can rest assured that system is functioning as it should.
