  • Extremely disappointed. Metal parts come apart.

I purchased several of these for my seasonal guest rooms. I am extremely disappointed in the way the are NOT holding up. The bolts pull out of the wood frame, the hinges break at the point where they bend, the metal mesh frame is bending and bowing, the futon cover fabric pills, and looks awful. I am throwing them away after approximately 20 uses. I wasted my money. The only thing that looks good is the wood arm.

We purchased this log futon to act as a multi purpose piece in a vacation home. It will be used for seating in our family room and as spare bed for visitors. The assembly was a little challenging as the directions are not too clear but after about an hr, we had it assembled. The hinges required some oil but otherwise it opened and closed well and was comfortable.

  • Not Well Made
    Verified Purchase

I have to regularly tighten the bolts holding the thing together, otherwise it will collapse to the ground. The mattress itself feels as though it's stuffed with hay, and lumpy hay at that. If it cost $50 to make I'd be surprised. I got rid of the whole contraption and got a "normal" sofa bed.
