Attractive but some quality issues

Loved the look of this stool but returned it for several reasons. The fabric was thin, more like curtain fabric than upholstery fabric, and I wasn't confident it would hold up. The padding for the seat was fairly soft and I felt it would compress too much too soon. The lattice back is plywood and the cut inside edges were rough as though they'd not been sanded. The outside edges were fine. The wood at the cutouts appeared to have splintered and possibly even been filled in places. Very attractive but I wanted something I thought would be more durable.
